Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cenedy Udoy Palma(“I”, “me”) handles information collected through www.cenedypalma.com (the “Site”). It applies to every page on this domain.

By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

Information you provide directly. If you submit the contact form, I collect the name, email address and message you enter. This is used only to read and respond to your enquiry. I do not sell it, and I do not add it to a marketing list.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and its third-party providers automatically receive standard technical information when you visit:

• IP address and approximate geographic region
• Browser type, operating system and device category
• Pages visited, time on page, and the referring page
• Date and time of your visit

This is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful and to monitor performance. I do not use it to try to identify you personally.

A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. The Site uses cookies for these purposes:

• Essential — remembering your light/dark theme preference so the Site does not flash the wrong theme on load.
• Analytics — Google Analytics cookies, used to measure traffic and understand which articles people read.
• Advertising — Google AdSense and its partners use cookies to serve and measure ads, as described below.

The Site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data including your IP address. You can prevent this entirely by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up, then deleted. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s own retention settings. Aggregate, non-identifying visit counts may be kept indefinitely.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal data I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, or withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email me at cenedypalma@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.

For advertising and analytics data held by Google, requests are best directed to Google, since I do not have access to their raw records.

This Site is not directed at children under 13 and I do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the Site, contact me and I will delete it.

The Site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while I take reasonable measures I cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site links to external sites including GitHub, LinkedIn and live project demos. I am not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites — please review their own policies.

I may update this policy to reflect changes in practice or law. The revision date at the top of this page will always show the current version. Material changes will be noted on the Site.
